Road works
Road works will begin near our brewery on March 3, 2026. These works are being carried out by the City of Poperinge and the Flemish government, with the aim of improving traffic safety around our brewery. The work is scheduled for completion in May 2026.
What works are being carried out?
The road will be widened, the traffic directions will be separated by a central reservation, a bicycle crossing will be added and measures will be taken to reduce speed.
What impact will the works have on the accessibility of the brewery?
During the work, disruption is expected for all visitors to the brewery (customers, suppliers, etc.). To minimize disruption, the work will be carried out in phases, and through traffic will be diverted.
- Are you coming by bike?
You can approach from any direction. There's ample space to park your bike.
- Are you coming by car?
You can only access the parking lot via Abele. Parking is available underground, above ground, or along the side of the road. Please note that parking is limited.
- Are you coming by truck?
You can only arrive via Watou. Click here for a PDF with more detailed information. Follow the detour as described in the PDF. Trucks must wait on the road (Trappistenweg). Please check in at the logistics office before entering the company site.
- Are you coming by bus?
You can only arrive via Watou. You must park on the road, parallel to the bike path.
